I have been thinking a lot recently about how different industries can employ the principles of gamification to take their businesses to the next level.
Which industries do you think are prime for gamification to transform?

There has been a slowness to adopt open banking, but I believe this could be the year where we really begin to see its potential realised.
I think we'll soon see competitors to Klarna & Trustly popping up, which will put pressure on prices.
Do you agree?

Now that the dust has settled a bit on web 3.0 and the metaverse, what are your current thoughts? What do you expect to see in the coming year?
We're going to see a lot happen in this space in 2022, and there is huge opportunity for start-ups to capitalise.

It looks like remote working is here to stay for a while longer. As we look ahead to the new year, what are your plans for remote/hybrid working?
I think it's super important to make sure you're on the lookout for smart collaborative tools and creative ways of working remotely.
A belated Happy New Year everyone!

Will we see more 'ethical' start-ups in 2022?
I think there is certainly opportunity there. With rapid developments in tech, there’s a fear that consumers could become scared by or uncomfortable with the tech they are using.

I am really interested to see how NFTs play out in 2022. How will the marketplaces evolve? Will Revolut be the place where those people who have already entered the cryptocurrency market begin to make their first NFT purchases?

Would you be comfortable having a robot in your house?
@amazon recently launched Astro, the personal in-home robot, and I think inventions like this are going to be become more commonplace over the next few years.
Will you be buying yourself a robot any time soon?

Whilst funding is important, receiving experienced guidance is just as valuable to entrepreneurs.
Mentoring can be so important, particularly for founders coming from a tech background. As a coder, turned CFO, turned CEO, I know this perhaps more than anyone.
How can startups capitalise on the metaverse? I think there are great opportunities for companies to focus on a certain part of the Metaverse and become really good at them.
If you can succeed in one specific area, big tech will pay you a premium.

Did you know that research has shown that start-up teams with at least one female founder perform 63% better than all-male teams?
Yet in 2021 only around 3% of seed funding went to start-ups led by women. How can we bridge this gap?
