He def wanted children to retain the morals of the stories, and walk away with wonder. And he did feel like teaching children morals through stories are better then sermons, but he never wanted to preach at people thru Narnia

@VerinsOwl That and Aslan is obviously God, but people act like Narnia is ONLY rooted in Christian tradition, and is a retelling of the gospels, when thats mainly just in the first book. But lewis filled Narnia with all the delight and whimsey and love of folklore and fairy tales

@VerinsOwl Lewis impeded his books with his views of morality (which come from a Christian world view) but idk why everyone thinks EVRYTHING in Narnia is rooted in a biblical allegory. Alsan Gave his life for Edmund. Thats the Christ Image we get from Aslan. (1)

@lawvig @dalepartridge he also wrote an essay saying there will be christian political parties that would say other christians arnt really christians if they don't support the "christian party" That the christian party would claim to be the whole and that any who disagree is out.
