I completely agree that tests written for testing are a terrible idea, but if we have to test them, let it be on something they would read for pleasure.

@Mr_Mac93 We had exactly this last year and it was so difficult and frustrating. He had had several chances but kept letting us down so we told him he couldn’t go; the team lost the tournament. But he realised we were serious. Representing the school is a privilege, not a right. Very tough
