another shoutout to my drinking habit, you may have killed me but it was definietly worth it #istaylitty #goodtimes

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

not to brag but Im pretty skilled when it comes to conveying the excitement of the revolution in physics to the common reader

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

my second wife's nick name was perky #2ndtimesacharm

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

even though my attempt to solve the order of the bases in DNA chains was flawed Mr. Crick and Watson should still thank me #itried

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

this is no big deal or anything, but I was awarded the UNESCO Kalinga Prize in 1956 for all the cool books I wrote on science

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

@georgegamow888 help a brotha out I'm thinking bout divorce

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

hot or not?

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

thank the lawd for the 1933 Solvay Conference in Belgium for getting me and my wife, Lyubov Vokhminzeva, out of Russia😅🙏

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

the oppression in Russia really killed my vibe while I was working at a number of soviet establishments back in 1932 #gottaflee

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

@georgegamow888 this basically treats the nucleus of an atom as a drop of incompressible nuclear fluid

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

#didyouknow I was the first to propose a "liquid drop" model of the atom

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

@georgegamow888 but I did participate in the development of the hydrogen bomb so once again y'all can #SUCKIT

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

to this day I still don't know why I wasn't cleared to work on the Manhattan project🤔🙄 #feelingdiscouraged #unworthy

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

@georgegamow888 there are billions of stars in a primordial galaxy that each have basically the same mass as the sun... #imkindofabigdeal

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

I published a paper about how to calculate the radius and mass for the early galaxy #suckit

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

ayyy bet you didnt know that one #saiditfirst

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

I'll never forget my homie Edward Teller and when we published papers when i was a professor at the University of George Washington

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

researching about the atomic nucleus was #lit while working at University of Gottingen

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

shoutout to Novorossiya University and University of Leningrad for the education #goodtimes #itwasworthit

[George Gamow @georgegamow888]

how cool is it that I grew up self taught but still discovered the alpha decay through quantum tunneling theory #justsaying
