Blessed and excited to announce that I’ll be continuing my academic and athletic career playing baseball at Delgado Community College.
First, all glory to God. To my parents, thank you for every sacrifice that made this possible. I love you. Dad, thank you for teaching me this game I love so much. To my family and teammates, thank you for pushing me, believing in me, and being in my corner every step of the way.
This is just the beginning. Time to get to work.
#Committed.
With all this being said, I want to say thank you to every coach/trainer/role model that helped mold me into the player I have become. I am greatful for all of you. Each one of you played a part in this moment.

FALGOUST'S WALK-OFF WIN POWERS NEWMAN PAST NORTHLAKE, 4–3
Newman delivered a complete performance on April 23, using early power, timely hitting, and dominant late pitching to secure a 4–3 walk-off victory over Northlake at Avenger Field.
Newman set the tone immediately in the bottom of the first when Christian Sauska (@SauskaChristian) launched a solo home run to left field for a 1–0 lead.
The game remained tight through the middle innings, with Northlake tying it in the fourth on a solo shot.
Newman answered in the bottom of the fourth when Sauska reached base and Collier Villere (@collier_villere) followed with a hard RBI single to center to put Newman back in front, 2–1.
Northlake mounted a rally in the fifth, stringing together multiple doubles to take a 3–2 lead. But Newman responded in the bottom half when George Loop (@georgeloop8) drove a ball out to left for a game-tying home run, evening the score at 3–3.
Jack Falgoust pitched five strong innings, limiting Northlake to three runs. Villere entered in relief and allowed no hits while striking out five over two innings.
In the top of the seventh, with the game on the line, Villere struck out the side, completely shutting down Northlake and preserving the tie. In the bottom of the seventh, Malcolm Schairer reached on a single, Loop followed with another hit, and a hit-by-pitch loaded the bases. With one swing needed, Jack Falgoust (@JackFalgoust10) delivered, lining a walk-off single to center to score the winning run and seal the 4–3 victory.
