On Aug. 7, 1990, President George H. W. Bush ordered Operation Desert Shield in response to Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait. The buildup of combat power marked the beginning stages of the Gulf War. We thank all Gulf War and Operation Desert Shield Veterans for their service!
Big respect to @Okla_OAG AG Drummond for opening an investigation into the Medicaid fraud mess. Medicaid is for Oklahoma’s most vulnerable, not a target for international fraud rings. Thank you for doing your job and putting Oklahomans first.
I've opened an investigation into the Oklahoma Health Care Authority's handling of alleged fraud, waste and abuse within the state's Medicaid managed care program, following recent revelations that leadership hand-picked by Gov. Stitt failed to report a large-scale, foreign-based enrollment fraud scheme.
Medicaid exists to protect Oklahoma's most vulnerable residents, not to become a target for international fraud rings. https://t.co/YhykwZHt55

‼️The Oklahoma State Health Department failed its basic duty. They knew about (‘explosive diarrhea’) cases for weeks but didn’t notify physicians or the public until last night. Today they finally admit it’s 57 cases with 6 hospitalized. This kind of secrecy and delay on a contagious illness is unacceptable, dangerous, and approaches public health malpractice . Oklahomans deserve timely transparency, not last-minute surprises. #okleg
The Oklahoma Health Department finally issues a health alert tonight at 553pm, weeks after knowing they had 11 cases of explosive diarrhea in our state.
🔴⚫️The Oklahoma State Health Department has missed an opportunity to inform physicians & Oklahomans about the fact that the Explosive Diarrhea outbreak has already hit our state.
⚫️No Health Action Alerts.
⚫️No news release.
⚫️Just crickets 🦗

Thank you for replying Attorney General Drummond. As a physician, I’m grateful you’re emphasizing the importance of timely transparency from the OSDH. Families deserve accurate updates without unnecessary delays. Your focus on trust and straightforward leadership is exactly what’s needed.
Appreciate you sir. You have my vote and support! 🇺🇸 God Bless the USA and our great state!

@LesSummers5@GovStitt@HealthyOklahoma removed their test directory section that revealed what tests are being outsourced. That inconvenient fact that our $30million Oklahoma Public Health Lab could do fewer types of tests than the old outdated lab is now hidden from Oklahoma citizens.
@FoxNews I keep seeing maps that show Oklahoma has no cases of Cyclosporiasis. Probably because our State Health Department just notified the public/physicians about it last night through a health alert and today on their website . Oklahoma has 57 cases/6 Hospitalized

Health officials are pointing to lettuce and salad greens as the possible source of the stomach parasite behind a nationwide outbreak of “explosive diarrhea.” Currently, Michigan and New York have the most cases of cyclosporiasis, followed by Texas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois and New Jersey.
