@CarterCale @mattswaim The word "worship" is Germanic. It means "being worthy." What the person is worthy of varies, obviously. Magistrates have been traditionally called "Your Worship." So "worship" is not what you ignoramuses pretend it is. It is ADORATION that is for God alone.

It is also used to say things like, "Je vous prie de m'excuser" (I ask you to forgive me) and "Prier de ramasser vos crottes de chien" (you are asked to pick up your dog's poop). This English word like many comes from French.
