I think I can do one better.
I’m building a running app with a real time AI running coach that you can talk to. You can talk to it throughout your run, if you’re having a tough day it can pull back on the workout or it can check up on you if your heart rate gets too high.
Imagine going for a run and your coach is there, it knows you and it motivates you to reach your goals as you’re running.
THIS GUY VIBE CODED A RUNNING APP WITH CLAUDE CODE IN A WEEKEND THAT TURNS YOUR CITY INTO A BATTLEFIELD
he wanted a reason to go outside so he built an app where you claim real territory on a map just by running through it
every street you run on becomes yours. your neighborhood turns into your turf, but other runners can take it from you by running the same streets
imagine runners waking up at 4am just to claim their blocks before anyone else does
the territory mechanic is what makes this different from every other running tracker because it gives you a reason to care about your next run, not just the one you just finished
if this idea is executed and marketed correctly it'll blow up on the app store
most fitness apps try to motivate you with stats and streaks, but this one actually motivates you with competition over real streets in your actual city
vibe coded in a weekend by a guy who doesn't even know how to code
As a new founder it can be extremely intimidating coming onto X.
It feels like everyone is building something, bigger, better and faster than you are.
What I’ve learned and constantly remind myself is that this community of founders is less than 1% of the population.
If you’re here, you’re already ahead.
@bas_fijneman I’m building an AI running coach that runs with you.
I love running but always stop as I find long runs can get boring. That won’t happen anymore as there is someone running with me and supporting me the whole time.

Rant incoming…
Why haven’t the big corporate data companies caught up with dashboard and analytics design? In the world of AI and the introduction of Claude design, I could create a beautiful dashboard in an afternoon. So I don’t understand why these companies still have the awful, blocky and slow dashboard interfaces.
