We obviously need high speed rail between London-Birmingham-Manchester and we need it delivered with zero boondoggles in a single Parliament.

This whole Manchester-based Number 10 thing. Is it peripatetic? Will it move to wherever subsequent PMs come from? Or will future Scottish or Welsh or Cornish PMs need to traipse to Manchester?
This is a gimmick that will end up being a huge waste of taxpayers money.
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom obviously needs to live close to Parliament. Those constant trips back and forth aren’t going to be cheap.
