@Free_CentralPA@NoChildAbuse67 Specials, primary turnout, and the NJ/VA gov elections are much more predictive of midterms than they are of presidential elections due to midterm coalitions being higher propensity
I think the Dem fretting about whether GOP money will drop in Texas is silly. You have to remember it's a massive state so even if Republicans dropped $80 million it wouldn't go as far as it would in another state. Texas has 20 media markets!!
Just 5 days until the 2026 midterm elections begin.
The first general election ballots will be sent to voters on September 4, when North Carolina begins absentee voting.
📊Was just informed a pollster will be dropping a poll in a state that has a competitive Senate and governors race on Sunday.
Won’t disclose who the pollster is or the state.
There's a libertarian on the ballot for TX Senate.
It's possible he'll serve as a GOP spoiler, siphoning up some Cornyn supporters who dislike Paxton but still wouldn't ever actually vote for a Democrat. Talarico might not need a 50%+1 majority.
@drunkelections@rep_favorite I agree somewhat but I don't think she'll be able to outrun the environment this time, it's just gonna be too blue, plus she's shed more support since 2020
House: Boebert goes down
Senate: Talarico is more likely to win than Brown
Governors: Lombardo narrowly goes down because of the environment, Donalds wins by under 5
