i will say lindsey graham being asked by a reporter how mitch mcconnell is doing, answering “i don’t know, i’m going to check right now” and then dying is hilarious
I don’t think people around the world realize how bad the attack on Lebanon was today. It’s BAD. Like 9/11 BAD. Hospitals are overflowing and do not have enough blood. We still don’t know what the death toll is.
This is TERRORISM. Pure and Simple.
April 8. Never forget.
Boomers are the first generation to enter adulthood richer than their parents and leave their children poorer than themselves.
In human history that has never happened before.
They didn't build the American Dream.
They borrowed against it.
Gen Z is paying the mortgage.
I was no fan of Joe Biden as President, but if he had conducted the Iran war in exactly the same manner as Donald Trump has done, the MAGA supporters would be wholeheartedly condemning him. The hypocrisy of blind tribalism.
If we survive Trump, Dems will run up huge numbers in 2026 & 2028, like 2006 & '08.
But if the next President doesn't govern like FDR, broad reforms, corruption prosecutions, landmark legislation, we end up right back here.
Winning isn't enough. Dems have to change things.
My biggest takeaway from the past few days is that not a single member of Congress is willing to risk anything at all to be on the right side of history
I'm supposed to clap like a good little seal because the Strait of Hormuz was opened back up... exactly like it was before we attacked Iran?
Only now gas is more expensive, billions of taxpayer dollars have been wasted, and American lives have been lost?
Nah, I'm good.
In the 1930s, average rent was $18 a month. At $0.25/hour, you could pay rent in 72 hours of work. Today, to pay $1000 rent at the federal minimum wage of $7.25/hour, you gotta work 138 hours.
Before Trump’s war the Strait of Hormuz was open, sanctions were in place, and gas was $2.39.
Now Iran controls the Strait, sanctions will be lifted, gas is $4.99, 13 Americans are dead, over 300 injured, and the loss of hundreds of billions in aircraft and U.S. base repairs.
