IT'S OFFICIAL.
GeoWeb - the #GeometryDash social network - relaunches next month. We're excited to share with you the brand new website, with so many new features.
If you were a GeoWeb user in the past - your profile still exists! You can log in and continue where you left off... uh, 3 or 4 years ago? I'm sure you won't be the only one to cringe at your old posts.
If you weren't a GeoWeb user before, join us at launch and become a part of the community!
This has been a long time in the works - we've taken so long to share this news because we wanted to be near the finish line in terms of development before we make false promises *cough* 2024 *cough*
Follow us on X and join our Discord below to stay updated! We will post an exact launch date in the coming weeks.

Here's a little look into groups - they've been upgraded since the original version of GeoWeb. Groups can create and assign their members with roles. These come with permissions (or just show a heirarchy), and also a role tag next to your posts within that group.
This is one of many group features, with many more planned post-launch too!
Progress across the entire website is going very well and we will have a launch date for you very soon!

GeoWeb has some big news to share in the coming weeks...
In the meantime, we're hoping we ask our artists in the community to lend a hand. If you're able, get in touch with Nem5703 on Discord.
To those of you who are less artistical, stay tuned and we'll see you soon.
Sneak peek at the new GeoWeb store! You can now buy any item at any time. You can easily find items by searching for them by name or by type. We are also introducing limited items, which only have a certain amount of stock, and once sold out become unobtainable.
After almost a year of no news, we're pleased to announce that GeoWeb will be making a return hopefully by this Summer. You can expect to see a lot more news regarding the new website here and on our Discord server, so be sure to follow and stay updated!
We've made the decision to update our branding. The logo we had previously had too much detail that looked bad when scaled down so we've gone for a little more simplified look while keeping the feel of the old logo.
Thanks for being patient with us, more news to come soon!
@lexiolvsu The API isn't free. We looked into many different options but they all cost money. The system we have built is our solution; we won't have a translate button on posts but you'll be able to choose what languages you wish to see, and we'll recommend you posts based on that.
We're working on a system that makes it easier for non-English speakers to use GeoWeb on the new (work in progress) website. It automatically detects the language(s) used in your post and will show primarily to those who speak that language (or languages) on their feed.
We're still experimenting with this feature and it will likely need tweaking as we go along - community input will be extremely helpful once the new website goes live and we will make changes according to feedback.
@noelloelle Currently when writing a post, it will tell you which language(s) it thinks you are typing in and speakers of those languages will see your post. You will also be able to manually select which languages you would like to see posts in.
As of now this feature is not toggleable.
The new settings page is almost finished. It's much more intuitive than the settings pages on 1.0 and 2.0, and a much bigger focus on privacy settings!
The brand new user profiles page is almost complete! We want to make sure it's perfect before we release it, but know we're making steady progress. You can now optionally show your birthday (day and month), your country flag and the user wall from GeoWeb 1.0 returns! 😁
The new login/sign up page is automated, so there is no need to wait for a moderator to approve your account anymore. You will be seeing pages around the site updated as they are completed; we will not be waiting until the entire website is remade to launch them. Stay tuned!
Hey all! Just letting you know that the development team is active and finally working on GeoWeb again! In addition to that, Aerolyst has been promoted to developer to work alongside Nem. We're currently revamping the 2.0 website, and we're nearly done with the new login page. :)
