If an advertiser chooses to stop advertising on a platform for any given reason, isn't that decision a form of free speech? How can one claim to champion free speech, then whine when advertisers and so-called activists exercise their own free speech? Can't have it both ways

I got a notification today that a random person liked a tweet I posted in 2013 about a city council candidates debate I covered for the newspaper I was working for at the time. Twitter is weird.
When I was coaching u-10 soccer today, I went full Berhalter on the sideline, chucking gratuitous bounce passes to players preparing to take throw-ins. But I'm pretty sure they thought it was cool. I think I've watched too many @watke_ videos.
