@Arcfunmi There is this really cool contraption called a tape measure. You can use it to measure positioning and clearance. Pretty amazing tool, you should check it out.
@strager@DotaMasterPro@thestanduppod I didn't saw clawbot was an LLM. I said you can use ollama from meta to run free models locally on a Mac Mini. I can chat with it and get responses. It's just slower than the big guys. But having a free model to run locally is huge.
@taylorotwell casually shipping a broken app online. The app triggers an alert, which triggers opencode which writes a fix, pushes a PR, then OpenClaw calls Taylor BY PHONE on stage, who responds « merge itΒ Β», and the fix is merged and deployed. All in 2 minutes, live on stage π
New in Cowork: scheduled tasks.
Claude can now complete recurring tasks at specific times automatically: a morning brief, weekly spreadsheet updates, Friday team presentations.
An engineer at Anthropic wrote a spec, pointed Claude at an Asana board, and went home. Claude broke the spec into tickets, spawned agents for each one, and they started building independently.
When the agent is confused it runs git-blame and messages the right engineers in Slack. By Monday the agents finished the plugin feature.
That's one example of how the best engineers are shipping software right now.
Developers will soon orchestrate 50 AI agents in parallel and the difference between a good engineer & a great one would come down to specs.
You can't write a spec that holds up at that scale without genuinely understanding what you're building at a deeper level.
The next-gen developer who understands the fundamentals, can architect well and orchestrate agent is going to be a 1000x developer!
Satya Nadella says you can clone yourself at work and create βinfinite minds.β
But digital coworkers need their own identities, with permissions and credentials, just like any other employee.
Working in a simulation has never felt so normal.
@JDunlap1974 Isn't this a short sighted take as well? AI Agents aren't coming for blue collar jobs right now, but once the robots really start coming, those jobs are gone too. You think a bot that can weld 24/7 with MM precision and not have vision issues is gonna lose to a human welder?
