That wasn’t even a storm. I think my trash can moved 2 feet and I saw lightning about 12 miles away. If our grid is that finicky then maybe we need another provider — or perhaps nuclear.

Can I get a 25% rebate (or at least $250 credit) since I have guests and we are currently melting due to neglect and/or incompetence? I’m sure JCPL will not offer discounts, but will have no issue raising our rate another 10-20% next year to fix the infrastructure and grid stability.

This outage has completely ruined the holiday weekend for a lot of people. Happy 250!
