BREAKING: Donald Trump is hit with more bad news as Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez goes on CNN and blasts him on live national TV over his arrest earlier today.

It all started when CNN was showing Trump’s live remarks after he landed in New Jersey.

Then, CNN abruptly cut him off and cut to a live interview with Ocasio Cortez. CNN host Jake Tapper explained that, “We're not carrying Trump’s remarks live because frankly he says a lot of things that are not true and sometimes potentially dangerous.”

Then, it was @AOC’s turn to speak to the American people — and she didn’t disappoint, declaring that, “When we look at Trump's first impeachment, he used and was unafraid to leverage the power of the US government in an attempt to engage in an extortion scheme in Ukraine. I do not think we could rule out him trying to engage in transactional behavior.

She continued, exposing Trump, “During Trump’s remarks he was trying to somehow pin this as some great marxist conspiracy. But the fact of the matter remains that this is an individual who retained national security secrets, nuclear site locations, sensitive materials, and put our nation at risk.”

BREAKING: In an insult to democracy, Donald Trump will be afforded special treatment when he appears in court today as the first U.S. president in history to be federally indicted.

Proving that the wealthy and powerful elite exist under a different legal system than the rest of us, Trump will be not have to get a mugshot taken, will not be handcuffed, and will not have his pockets emptied when he's formally processed.

Sparing him the legal treatment that every other criminal receives is likely an effort to appease his deranged MAGA base. Given how violently they behaved on Jan. 6th there's no real way to know how they would react to seeing their cult leader in cuffs.

What's more important than the processing though is that he doesn't receive any special treatment during the actual trial. Democracy itself is at stake here. Donald Trump belongs behind bars.

BREAKING: Rep. Lauren Boebert gets slammed with terrible news as an official complaint is filed with the FEC alleging that she illegally spent $60,000 on "get out the vote" calls and texts in the lead-up to her tight midterm election.

This spending would qualify as in-kind independent expenditures, but Boebert failed to report it as such. The complaint was filed by End Citizens United.

"Boebert may have made an illegal in-kind contribution to herself that exceeds the $5,000 limit set by federal law, or spent money to influence another campaign without reporting it, as required by federal law," the complaint indicates.

"Congresswoman Boebert used her leadership PAC as a personal bank but, unfortunately for her, this practice is illegal under federal law," the President of End Citizens United President said.

BREAKING: Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the Republican-controlled House stab the American people squarely in the back by approving a debt ceiling bill that would brutally slash federal spending.

The GOP bill would gut funding for veterans healthcare and repeal President Biden's historic climate change programs. Meanwhile, an average of 17 veterans commit suicide daily and climate disasters are rapidly multiplying.

Thankfully, Democrats control the Senate and the Oval Office.

Six weeks remain until the debt ceiling must be raised or the government will default on its debts — an unimaginable disaster that would reduce the global economy to ashes. The Biden administration will aggressively negotiate with the Republicans during that time.

While McCarthy and his cronies will claim that they are advocating for fiscal responsibility, the truth is far more sinister. They had no problem skyrocketing the deficit under Donald Trump but now that Joe Biden is president they want to cut funding to hurt the economy and damage Democrats at the ballot box. As usual, they are putting party before country.
