@limerickcitybiz ๐๐๐ Well done Nigel @limerickcitybiz, that's a really useful piece of research @FearStairLmk. I never realised that the wall below Exchange St. was part of the original wall. What remains should be preserved and highlighted as part of the great history of Limerick.
@FearStairLmk Paul, try The People's Museum of Limerick in Pery Square. It has a lot of old rowing cups on display. I discovered the Quin Cup there, which my father won with Athlunkard Boat Club in 1951.
Delighted to announce that my free walking tours of #Limerick will resume in April 2024. More details to follow. All are welcome to attend. Please retweet.
@Gilleeece@stmunchins@ScoilIde Thank you Emma. Great background. Living in Corbally then, I recall the houses were originally known as the Token houses, before Shannon Banks came into common usage.
@FearStairLmk Wonderful tour of a great Limerick street. Thank you Paul. My grandparents, the Quinns, lived at 1 Oakville. Lots of families and stories remembered on the walk through ๐.

1/ HOW TO AVOID TRANSMISSION and have #CleanAirHolidays?
Most important: understand and explain clearly that we get infected by breathing infected air (aerosols) exhaled by SOME (not all) the infected
Mainly in close proximity, and in shared room air
https://t.co/LEjRECS9pj
@CMOIreland ๐ฆ #Covid19 is inhaled in infected air in rooms & vehicles
๐ท Wear well fitting masks everywhere indoors (outside your home) & in empty rooms, especially lifts & toilets
๐ช๐ฌ Air rooms regularly, breath clean air
๐ฝ๐บ๐บ๐ป Avoid restaurants/pubs/nightclubs
