@politicshome@SamanthaNiblet4@zoenora6 How is it that @SamanthaNiblet4 campaigns on two issues - orgasms & ‘trans rights’ - but has absolutely nothing to say about the fact that trans IDing kids are put on a medical pathway that inevitably leaves many anorgasmic in adulthood?
Stop the Pathways trial @YvetteCooperMP
On Wednesday night, Labour MP @SamanthaNiblet4 launched her Summer Of Sex campaign
Speaking at the event in central London, sponsored by John Lewis and Coco de Mer, Niblett said some of her Labour MP colleagues were coming around to the cause, telling PolHome's @zoenora6: "Some colleagues are going on a journey"
Attendees were given luxury goodie bags containing biscuits, canned cocktails and intimate bodycare products https://t.co/B20KZhYTA5
EEK - Adding @JohnLewisRetail to our 'In Crisis' list, next to @AmnestyUK! This 'Summer of Sex' campaign is waaay off-brand for them, yet will have been green-lit at senior level. Replacing woke CEO Sharon White was too little, too late. This rot runs deep at JLP. They are lost.
A great maiden speech from @Conservatives Cllr Charlotte Cadden, highlighting the implications of the Supreme Court judgment and the need for Bolton Council to review its equality policies in light of the EHRC Code of Practice and guidance. Congratulations on securing unanimous, cross-party support for a review to ensure Council policies are consistent with the Equality Act 2010.

This is absolutely bonkers 😱
Civil servants could be investigated for simply acknowledging biological reality.
It is little wonder the UK Government did not want to make this guidance public.

For the avoidance of doubt, I believe that MPs who record TikToks to sexually vulgar music in their parliamentary office, or who suggest that we should be bringing sex toys into Parliament, make a mockery of the British electorate.
The language on the billboard truck read: "Women and girls deserve safety on the field, privacy and dignity in the locker room, and fairness on the podium” and "males are invading female sports."
SNP Bad!
John Swinney and the SNP’s policy is to leave North Sea oil and gas in the ground, but Andy Burnham’s decision to ‘get drilling’ again makes the Nats look foolish and flat-footed
Even better it will upset the wine bar revolutionaries in the looney tune Greens
Horrendous. Simply horrendous. Any breakdown of the sex of victim and perpetrator @PoliticsUK ? Or was this simply 'people' beating up other 'people'? I wonder...
From the attempted denigration of a philosophy professor (@byrne_a) at @MIT in America, to today, the mother of an adult daughter with learning disabilities in West Belfast worried about her safety & care. Sex matters but Butler’s legacy is widespread:
🇬🇧 "Forstater said: “When Amnesty International revealed that its understanding of equality and anti-discrimination law was faulty by arguing on the wrong side in the case of For Women Scotland, it should have reported itself to The Charity Commission.
“For years it has promoted an interpretation of the law the Supreme Court found was ‘unworkable’ and ‘incoherent’ in relation to women’s and gay people’s rights.
“But instead of taking a hard look at where they had gone wrong, the trustees allowed the charity to continue on the same path, which led to publicly smearing grassroots women’s groups that rely on the law as ‘anti-rights’.”
Maya Forstater, the chief executive of human rights charity Sex Matters, has said Amnesty should have reported itself to the charity regulator long before backlash against its report.
That is because the charity intervened in the case that led to the landmark Supreme Court ruling on sex and gender last year, which clarified that someone’s biological sex determines whether they are male or female.
Forstater also accused Amnesty of trying to hide behind its dual structure to escape regulatory scrutiny"

1/ More misinformation. First, there was no trial, Rudakubana entered guilty pleas to the 16 count indictment just as his trial was due to begin on 20 January 2025, so it's flat out wrong to suggest that "during the trial" Defence counsel was at fault.
It's amazing how some men genuinely seem to think women they don't consider sufficiently feminine would fail a test for biological femaleness. They're like the 1960s doctors who thought menopause stopped women being women.
I mean FFS. Have you not been paying attention for whole of your life to the existence of places like Broadmoor and Carstairs where we put people too mad to be held safely in a conventional prison? It’s to protect *us*, the staff and other prisoners. Grow up. We deserve better.
Jolyon Maugham's "Good Law Project" has reported Sex Matters to the Charity Commission for being hateful. 🤦♀️
If you would like to read the examples of what GLP thinks is hateful and make a donation to Sex Matters.

So it's looking as though, from what she said in her lawyers statement, that Nicola Sturgeon *would* have done something legally about David Davis if he'd called her a liar without parliamentary privilege but will let @WingsScotland off the hook?
Very odd....😏
The @guardian continue to write on #surrogacy and we welcome this article as we also recognise the rancid hypocrisy of Jens Spahn, but are we surprised that this is what drew such heavy criticism and his resignation of the whip?
No.
