@HelenAndDouglas I love this sign as they were one of the first 20 Makaton signs I taught my non-verbal daughter when she was 20 months old. That and 'tidy up'. Super useful communication 👍🏽

@Kathleen_M_King I love my life but as a mum to our adopted 6 y/o, I struggle constantly to keep up, stay awake and be an effective parent. I still have some recurring Endo cramps although in menopause. Go figure 🙄

@Kathleen_M_King I can't read the article as I don't want to subscribe to it. I'll be 57 in January & since my early 40's my health has been wrecked by Endo followed by an early medical menopause post-surgery. I'm on HRT but I'm fatigued all the time. Due at Rheumatology for autoimmune disease 🙄

@henriksmumma @primobe_com I thought the same as soon as I saw the hooks being swung back 😳 Who'd want that to be impaled into their eye socket. Plus, any accident claim would be null and void if these attachments proves a safety risk.

@rowenamezzo I love your mum as she tells it like it is. Two opposite experiences for me as my husband's Gran was in a care home until she passed aged 107 and my husband's mum plays the piano accompanied by a singer at care homes or events. I need to find out anecdotes to share 😂

This "they were initially clumsy toddlers who frequently fell" resonated with me as my daughter is the same with her cerebral palsy but is strong willed & determined.

@viv39047892 I never understood this. I'm of Portuguese & Filipino heritage. My family & cousins have married into Chinese, Indian, Muslim, German, English families. We ALL question what our children would look like down to hair, eye colour & skin tone. This is normal talk in South East Asia.
