People argue that DePIN projects like @DIMO_Network should not use cryptocurrency as token price is susceptible to overall market movement instead of following something like: Network value = number of purchasers * value per transaction * frequency of transactions

As you can see, I would say there is enough correlation for these two numbers (network value & token price) to mirror each other in the long term rewarding long-term investors and participants. Haven't looked at other DePIN projects for this but will soon.
