President Trump Has Legal Authority to CANCEL THE SENATE RECESS
The President has the Constitutional authority to call an “extraordinary session” of the Senate to vote on the SAVE AMERICA ACT and the CLARITY ACT.
This authority is found in Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution, which provides:
The President “may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses or either of them . . .”
In 1989, the Office of Legal Counsel of the Department of Justice issued a legal opinion confirming this point.
The Legal Opinion states: “The language and purpose of the Clause [Article. II, Sec. 3] make plain that the President may exercise this authority to convene the Senate during an intra-session break . . . We therefore conclude that the President has the power to CONVENE THE SENATE DURING THE PLANNED AUGUST RECESS.” [emphasis added]
Note: This formal Legal Opinion was issued 37 years ago—not dreamed up yesterday.
President Trump should exercise his authority to convene the Senate until such time as votes are taken on the Save America Act and the Clarity Act.
The President can’t force the Senate to pass these Acts, but he can make them stay in session until votes are taken.
The American people deserve to know where each Senator stands on these important matters BEFORE the November elections.

These are the Senators who aren’t interested in being reelected @Sen_Alsobrooks@CoryBooker@SenCortezMasto@RubenGallego@Hickenlooper@MarkWarner@ReverendWarnock we welcome you all back into the private sector if you don’t pass the Clarity Act. Welcome to the real world. It’s a jungle out here. I can assure you it’s not worth it. We actually have to work. Pass it and continue to enjoy the government dole.
History will remember this as the moment a president chose a higher standard of ethics than the law required of him. This agreement bans ALL federal officials — including the President — from issuing or sponsoring a digital asset for profit, with real enforcement and real penalties.
Thank you, @POTUS! Let's get the Clarity Act passed NOW.
Nancy Pelosi made millions off stock trades in Congress and fought a trading ban for years. President Trump is voluntarily binding himself to the Clarity Act's conflict-of-interest rules on digital assets in ways she'd never apply to her own bottom line. Ask yourself who actually believes in accountability.
Russia Just Unleashed Massive Crypto Legislation, Beating the U.S. at Their Own Game
While the Clarity Act is struggling:
Russia, Japan, South Korea, UAE and others have already introduced their equivalence of Clarity Act.
They’re creating a system away from the Dollar rails…
I did warn you😉😏
REMEMBER 🚨: when these 3 idiots told us “the science is clear”
“These vaccines will protect you and those you love from this dangerous and deadly disease”
Humiliating!
Thanks to the vision and leadership of President Donald J. Trump, America fell in love with the World Cup, and the world fell in love with the United States of America, again!
It’s Happening ‼️ The Donald Trump Administration finalized a rule rescinding Biden regulations, immigrants who have used welfare can now be DENIED Green Cards
“That includes food stamps, Medicaid, housing vouchers, and more. The policy was first implemented in early 2020 by President Trump, but it was reversed after Joe Biden became president. It will be formally reinstated”
But don’t let the Democrat Party lie to you, this is how it always should have been, this was our policy before Democrats started the welfare state
‘The public charge ground of inadmissibility’ has existed in US immigration law for over a century under the ‘Immigration and Nationality Act.’ It allows denial of visas or green cards if an applicant is deemed likely to become primarily dependent on the government for support
Trump’s first term simply expanded the rule to consider a broader range of non-cash benefits like Medicaid, food stamps and housing assistance, plus factors like age, health, income, education, and English proficiency
It does not automatically deny anyone for using benefits but now there is more discretion by immigration officers to make these decisions based on all circumstances
To @CNN, you have a short memory. In 2024 you credibly covered that China hacked Great Britain’s voter files. Those files are public like the US. Why was it news then but now disinformation when Trump reveals it happened to Americans? https://t.co/7DBIjgn6fN
Imagine being forced to get two doses of the vaccine to keep your job and then hearing the CEO of Pfizer just a few months later say that two doses of the vaccine offers no protection.
That's evil stuff right there.
