Our work also takes a peek at cucumber heterochromatin. Interestingly a recent paper from Qianwen Sun's lab also showed that cucumber contains typical chromocenters (https://t.co/wyASZwMyKD). These manuscripts help the community to understand heterochromatin in non-model species
