@DanielGlejzner still not hired. I want engineers that love programming and love software and love solving problems using programming. Not AI proxies and def not people that see it as a chore. But I understand you need to sell the opposite as it's your business model.
@DanielGlejzner Your twisting words. Potato vs Potato. Anyways, typical defense of AI prompters, it's a skill issue :/ You're still not getting hired for an SWE position if you can't code.
@DanielGlejzner in any case, doesn't matter how you spin it. I hire real engineers, and so do others. If I wanted AI gened code I wouldn't be hiring. Just think about that. I can just use an army of agents. If you're an eng and only delegate to an AI, you're a middleman adding zero value.
@DanielGlejzner I actually know how to write LLMs and there limits. In SWE you can have respecting standards software that is just wrong as much as a novel can have perfect grammar is terrible. I don't want quick. $100? software bugs cost me $100000s.
@GergelyOrosz@grinich I've used seems all my life. The problem is now those that used m-dashes and talked like this, have to change, to not to be seen as LLM influenced :(
It is unbelievable how much better all software has become in the past 6 months! Like everything is working better! Fewer bugs. New features all the time! The apps I use every day have improved at least 10x from where they were just 6 months ago! Services I depend on never break.
Oh wait. None of that happened. Almost everything is actually significantly worse. Not sure how to make sense of that given all the immense productivity gains. Actually I do. Regression to the mean has more gravity than ever. And that is not a good thing.
@muheediva01 Even of the uncle was a grown man, why would this be an issue? Lots of families see each other nude without turning into something it should not be. Families outside US or UK share baths or showers without being wierd.
@EdwardMorr9405@allenanalysis the thing is, where do we say it's ok to break the law and when not? Shall we obliterate all IP rights? Shall we move it further into private property? Even OpenAI shouted fowl: I stole it first, said one thief to the other!!
@GergelyOrosz Current situation is surreal, CTO/CEOs are drunk on AI. It's a tool, get over it. We've seen tech waves before, but this one has turned up the turbo on the snake oil, and companies are willing to hurt themselves top down to get it.
@Cloudflare@Cloudflare your pages uploads are still down. chunk-YO254JJB.js net::ERR_ABORTED 500 (Internal Server Error). Since: May 28, 2026 - 20:45 UTC :( Time to migrate away, sorry you can't be trusted anymore.
@Cloudflare please go back to proper engineering. Your pages down times have been more frequent, causing sites to experience outages for extended periods of time after they deploy their pages.
@Its_Nova1012 let me know which UUID version was used first, and then which language platform os and libraries were used. UUID is more of a schema where each version defines how the bytes are generated.
@SumitM_X There's no noticeable performance difference. The random index mismatch is solved with ulids and uuid7. Gives you ids you can use in FE, and also allows data restore without id reset or conflicts during restore. Your lead needs to readup more.
