This is absolute absurd.
My tweet was reporting on how much a politician had raised, and noting it as an interesting political development.
Retweeting this led to the authoritarian creeps running the Labour Party to launch an investigation against a member.
My negotiations with Treasury for North East devolution began back in Jan 2020. It's been quite a journey.
The latest twist is @UKLabour HQ's ironic decision not to fully devolve the choice of NE Mayor to local Labour members.

I’ve been barred from standing as North East Mayor by @UKLabour. No explanation has been given.
I’m proud to have created thousands of jobs, fought child poverty, built affordable homes and delivered our Green New Deal. I believe in democracy. Share if you do too. More to follow.
Attempting to stop people trafficking by doing your own people trafficking is a bizarre concept. You could argue that however awful and exploitative these people traffickers are, at least they’re getting people to go where they want. Our people traffickers, not so much.
Our lives have got to change. Do we just tell people what to do, or involve them in decision making? I prefer talking to people. I usually learn something.

Don't just applaud healthcare workers. Protect them.

@KForCullercoats Are you seriously trying to sabotage the Labour candidate for Mayor? The implication is clearly that you stood aside for JD, which you know is not true. Do you really want to do this?
@valjamieson@chakrabortty@MayorJd4 We can win but only if we do it ourselves. The biggest danger is as the Climate protesters say, expecting someone else to do it for us.
Absolutely @valjamieson . Sometimes quite uphill on the doorstep. It's like a wall 'They're all the same. No really they're not. This is something different
My thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Lyra McKee, senselessly killed while doing her job as a journalist.
This shocking attack is a reminder of the vital importance of protecting the Good Friday Agreement and Northern Ireland peace process.
Our friends up the road in Northumberland & Tyneside have a proud industrial past that's been decimated by short-termism & cuts. Jamie’s campaign for Mayor is full of exciting ideas that’ll start to reverse that trend & share prosperity within the North of Tyne area. #JD4Mayor
A brilliant but startling exposure of the imminent risks we face by #ClimateChangeTheFacts I pledge that, whatever it takes, given the opportunity in government I will use the full weight of the Treasury to tackle this growing crisis and help secure the future of our planet.
