Dave Doogan asks questions of Douglas Alexander's meeting with Mandelson's firm, undeclared for 18 months, and gets a non answer citing Starmer's blessing and Murrell, with a joke about the generation game from Hoyle.
WM is the joke, and it isn't funny.

@B0mberHarris@paulhutcheon This is what happens when events overtake the IQ of the @B0mberHarris's of this world.
What an utter tit he just made of himself. And then tried to hit and run with a block. Shitbag move right there.
@B0mberHarris@paulhutcheon Who is "they". Before you said "they" were the WM committee, who had already released a statement saying that Holyrood should handle it.
You haven't looked at the committees area of competence. Or their statement, until you got caught up in the thread you started by saying...well
@B0mberHarris@paulhutcheon Straight answer time champ.
When you stated that the HoC would be investigating this, were you aware of the statement released by their committee on the matter ?
Just yes or no. Old chap.
Journalists excited about a potential Westminster inquiry into Murrell should read this thread ๐ before their excitement misleads their readers/viewers.
@PGourtsoyannis So the Scottish Affairs Committee admit what everyone knew, they donโt have a remit for a Murrell inquiry.
Will they undertake a Douglas Alexander inquiry? That is their remit.
@PGourtsoyannis Well done for pursuing this, Paris.
But where is Douglas Alexander, why is he still hiding?
What did he discuss in his secret China/Russia meetings?
Why the Labour hypocrisy on secrecy?
@ron_bod@paulhutcheon Did we have a right to know about Douglas Alexander's meeting with Mandelson's lobbying firm ?
Why was that 18 months late in being declared do you think ?
Should he have used the Murrell saga in order to deflect from answering that question today ?
Should HE be investigated ?
@B0mberHarris@paulhutcheon Who do elected SNP MPs represent in Westminster ?
Peter Murrell never represented anyone politically. If a private individual was investigated re private funds, and pleaded guilty, would WM step in unless it allowed them to try and gain political capital ? NO, of course not.
@ron_bod@paulhutcheon Over a matter of private funds ??
They have a right to spend more public money than has already been spent on this, further investigating a matter pertaining to private funds using tax payers money for a second investigation ?
Do you seriously believe that ?
