@brownsvillejets Hopefully we can get some structure around it and settle down transfer portal. Get some commitment to stay with the program with an out clause if the coach leaves. Athletes deserve their share, but portal chaos hurts the product.

@brownsvillejets I find it tough to be optimistic in this era of everyone being an unrestricted free agent every year. Glad to see the players getting opportunities and choice, but would like to see some middle ground. Do we need a CBA for between players and the NCAA?

@brownsvillejets I’ll nominate my all time favorite player, Walter Payton. Only made it to one SB, but is one of the most exciting, versatile, dedicated, classy players of all time. RIP Sweetness. He does already have the humanitarian award named after him.
