@AlanWhelan17@humphreyjones Not necessarily true . The subjects that have most doing grinds are the compulsory subjects. So there are a larger cohort of students and more importantly larger cohort of students who are not suited to it . They pick their other subjects so prob better suited to it.
@kingkane@garethdoherty17 TUI leadership recommended acceptance from the get go and majority of their teachers either trusted them or didn't bother reading into the reform. ASTI sent out without recommendation and teachers trusted their gut. Honestly don't understand how anyone could vote yes.

@doogarry Well…I’ve approx the same mileage as yourself and in the last 5 years I’ve had a plug in hybrid and then fully electric. Economically IMO only worth it if you charge at home at a night time rate.
@teabiccy@simonmlewis It’s scandalous the way book companies are been let introduce new editions of books so frequently ( secondary btw) . A lot of books that had new editions recently are getting new editions again this year knowing schools will have to pay for them and not reuse the ones they have.
@dixo27409033@think_or_swim@johncronin7@PatKennyNT Look them in the eye? If the driver couldn’t see the child how do you expect the child to be able to see the drivers eye? Or what if the driver is wearing sunglasses, how can you see the eye? Also car was stopped when kid started walking. Again seriously!!
