2) Even if it had been largest, it would still be around 20% -- far less than having a majority of the votes, meaning coalitions or cooperation is needed to rule

Not having read any research, I speculate that the need for a double income in a family might reduce birth rates more than an egalitarian workforce?

@Poundcakearoni @RebeccaAVelo @eyeslasho /2 Also, in my country, labour laws will stop you at 10% position max for your 2nd job. Also, many employers don't allow a 2nd position, as they want you to have the flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Both parents working one job each would be the same work effort in total, but with family time more evenly divided between mom and dad. Is this not considered valuable for the family? /1

@andersheger Alle politiske kommunestyredokumenter var slik i min kommune for bare få år siden: ikke-søkbar pdf i dårlig oppløsning og uten farger (selv om originale dokumenter var søkbare, i god oppløsning og i farger). Tror det var den tekniske arkiveringsløsningen som gjorde det slik.
