Taylor Swift is set to be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, making history as the youngest writer to ever receive the honor.

At 36, Taylor Swift will become the youngest writer ever inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, echoing the honor she picked up earlier this year as the youngest female writer to join the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The Hall's eligibility clock runs 20 years — and Swift's induction lands on the 20th anniversary of her debut album, Taylor Swift.

In a message read by executive director Mark Ford on the livestream, Swift laid it out: "From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be… a town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing."

Swift goes in under the contemporary songwriter/artist banner. She's joined by Lyle Lovett (veteran songwriter/artist), Shawn Camp and Lee Thomas Miller (contemporary songwriter), and Bruce Channel (veteran songwriter).

A town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don’t. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I’m very grateful.”

The accolade follows Swift having been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York in June, at which point she became the youngest female writer ever to join that hall.

Dating to the chart's launch in 1961, she's just the second artist to chart at least four songs in the top 10 simultaneously. She joins Michael Bublé, who charted four holiday songs in the top 10 for two weeks in 2011, and five songs in the region for one week that same year.
