BREAKING: #KarmeloAnthony will NOT get a new trial. Judge Michael Chitty has denied Anthony’s motion for a new trial, meaning his 35-year sentence currently stands.

The ruling comes one day after the two-day hearing concluded and after Judge John Roach was recused from the case and replaced by Chitty.

Anthony’s notice of appeal of his murder conviction was already filed in June and now moves forward as his next avenue to challenge the conviction.
