@Mateoxfn 1) It’s not a ggOS issue. 2) I closed chat for a reason. I no longer have any interest in supporting it. If you want or need support use another iso.
@WindowZ414 It doesn’t say display anywhere: “**v0.9.1 Unsupported Features**
· U.S. ENGLISH ONLY: Due to a Windows bug, changing the language may not work -- see https://t.co/zccfK1SMvc)”
@WindowZ414 Those were not windows updates. They were language packs which you chose to install despite being told it is not supported. I’ve used my iso for over 15 months and never once had it try to install an update.
Disabling components can often be better than stripping them with NTLite. I now know of at least two components that, when stripped, break things, but when simply disabled, does not.
If you play Minecraft, do not update to the new launcher. Almost every review is 1 star. Many say the install failed, others lost worlds, and several even reported BSODs. Java edition players can still use the legacy launcher: https://t.co/yBJglOcg0w
@Dety0 “Tweakers” are not permitted to install ggOS as part of a paid service. If you know who that tweaker was, please let me know. I’d like to ban him from my discord server.
Huge news for the custom iso world... NVIDIA has officially dropped support for Windows 7/8 and standard drivers. Only DCH drivers (which require the UWP control panel from Store) will now be available. https://t.co/XNdEzFUcIE
If there was any doubt, @brickwalldylow admitted he sold my gaming iso, ggOS, which you can get for free from https://t.co/GTtugwSiLi ... If you were scammed, be sure to let Paypal know that you were sold counterfeit software, because selling a Windows iso is illegal.
Two people have now told me that @brickwalldylow did, in fact, charge $15 for my iso. In this case, that *did not* include installation, which required an extra payment (that they declined). Yes, @zabrafn, he sold the iso.
@zabrafn @yelowwwxyz @brickwalldylow Bruh, he's a liar. He doesn't even deny selling the iso. Notice in the pic he didn't say, "the iso is free, I only charge for installation." He clearly said he didn't sell ggOS *anymore* ...
Hey @brickwalldylow ... Want to explain why you are SELLING my FREE custom iso from https://t.co/GTtugwSiLi ? You might want to cover your tracks a little better next time. You forgot to remove my logo and change the registry. Hope $15 was worth it.
@zabrafn @yelowwwxyz @brickwalldylow Except I've had multiple people report this to me specifically because they were *not* aware it was free and only found out it was after after paying. In addition, charging for installing my iso is explicitly against my terms of use.
