Heat can be harder to manage with a mental health condition, as some medications affect how your body handles temperature and hydration. Drink water throughout the day, keep cool with blinds, fans or AC.

Happy St Patrick’s Day ☘️ Wishing you a day full of good vibes, a little extra luck, and plenty of reasons to smile. However you’re celebrating, hope it’s a great one!
Spring reminds us that change is natural. Longer days. Lighter mornings. A chance to begin again.
If winter felt heavy, you are not alone. Start small. Step outside. Open a window. Have one honest conversation.
Growth is quiet. Be gentle with yourself.
It’s okay to take up space, even on your quiet days. You don’t have to be productive to be worthy. You don’t have to be strong all the time to be respected. You don’t have to have it together to be enough.
Dark winter days can feel heavy! But they can also be gentle. Slower mornings. Softer light. An excuse to rest without guilt. Sometimes enjoying winter isn’t about chasing happiness, but letting yourself move at the season’s pace.
Happy New Year from knus 💛
As we step into a new year, we’re reminded of what matters - kindness, connection, and the courage to show up for one another. Thank you to everyone who reached out, listened, or walked alongside someone who needed support this year.
After Christmas, there’s often a quiet drop. Decorations come down, messages slow, life shifts pace. It can feel relieving… or heavy. It’s okay to soften now, rest without explanation, and just be. Gentle days count.
Day 25 - Practice Deep Self-Kindness
Rest. Unplug. Treat yourself gently. We often forget that we deserve the same compassion we give others. When you care for yourself, your emotional capacity grows - kindness becomes sustainable, not exhausting.
As we come to the close of 2025, we want to pause and say a sincere thank you to every volunteer who has given their time, care, and belief to knus this year.

Day 24 - Bring Treats to Emergency Service Workers
Police, firefighters, paramedics, hospital teams - many spend Christmas protecting others.
Your gesture shows gratitude, humanity, and solidarity.
Day 23 - Invite Someone Who Might Be Alone
A friend, a neighbour, a colleague new to the area. Inclusion can turn a difficult season into a meaningful one. Nobody should feel forgotten at Christmas, and your invitation could rewrite someone’s entire experience.
Day 22 - Offer a Genuine Smile to a Stranger
Smiles are micro-lifts for the nervous system. They create warmth, reduce stress hormones, and encourage connection. Genuine friendliness makes public spaces safer and more welcoming.
Day 21 - Give Away a Book You Loved
Pass on stories, learning, or comfort. Books connect us through ideas and imagination. Sharing a book is sharing a part of yourself and it might reach someone at just the right moment.
Day 20 - Thank a Teacher, Carer, or Healthcare Worker
They often carry emotional and physical loads few see. A heartfelt “thank you” acknowledges their resilience and humanity. Appreciation energises people doing essential work.
