The footprint the 1996 Olympics left at Georgia State was quite impactful. With the 2021 Games beginning this Friday, here's a look back 25 years ago to the role Georgia State played in the iconic '96 Games in Atlanta: https://t.co/ueKHviWjVM
As a college student groomed to praise open-source and open-education for better communities, I get frustrated with laws requiring prescriptions for better health options or innovation...😑How do we make change? https://t.co/Tjsg3fcYRO
Putting down consumerism while having a vegan meal is my personal way of celebrating #blackoutday2020 for a better version of us. “If I am not good to myself, how can I expect anyone else to be good to me?”

@Zwavhudi1 I heard that all the way from the U.S. Sis and I feel you!! What’s helped me are two words. Courage and will. The courage to affect change and the will to see it through. Hope this helps but I feel you!
I’ve ridden past this way too many times in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. These 12-foot iron bars and barbwire were created by artist David Hammons (creator of the African-American Flag) and it is a representation of Nelson Mandela’s activism towards liberation in South Africa.

Understanding human development is challenging to where it’s like a safari. Interesting ideas jump out and consume so many relationships...in a good way. My biggest fear isn’t opportunities consuming us but the fear of missing out by not pursuing anything.
I’m doing The Balanced Scholar 10-Day Challenge next week with @blkingradschool! I’ll be exercising, reading, and writing my way to getting more done and taking care of myself. #TBSchallenge
Our sensory memory can become hijacked by both people and things fighting for it’s attention. I’m starting a open-source and open-data project called @thefoodationapp to assist restaurants and individuals living in sugar-rich environments or food deserts.
