The distance between you and the people you admire isn’t always as wide as it looks.
And if you’re willing to put in the work, you can stand on the same ground.
Maybe even higher.
One of the biggest lies I believed was that shrinking made me a good person.
So I stayed quiet.
Avoided conflict.
Played small.
Tried not to offend anyone.
What I didn’t realize was that I was hiding the very person God created me to be.
Shrinking isn’t always fear.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re living smaller than you were created for, follow along.
I’m documenting my journey of unlearning, healing, and becoming.
#Transformation#Faith#Growth
The reality God never wrote for me was a life spent shrinking.
I spent years making myself smaller.
Staying quiet.
Holding back my opinions.
Playing a character I thought people would accept.
Not because I lacked potential.
Every time we hide our gifts, silence our voice, or make decisions from fear, we limit what God wants to express through us.
I’m done living beneath the life fear wrote for me.
I’m learning to live the life God wrote for me instead.
I want you to join me on my transformation journey because it will be coming with documentation of my life full of the things you can apply in your own life and grow with me.
And moving forward, this is what I’ll be writing about.
Because I believe freedom begins when we become aware of the patterns we’ve inherited.
And the patterns you inherit don’t have to be the patterns you continue.

I grew up believing generational curses were mostly spiritual.
So whenever something kept repeating in a family, the solution seemed obvious:
Pray harder.
Fast longer.
Attend more services.
Yet some patterns remained.
Then I asked a question that changed my life:
Passed from one generation to the next.
This realization connected generational patterns, self-concept, and the power of our words in a way I had never seen before.
Over the last month, I’ve been studying, reflecting, and applying these ideas to my own life.
