@NotFarLeftAtAll Syria has natural resources in quantities we do not. Shoring up their new Government is an act of diplomacy that paves the way for British companies to access those resources. This isnโt new, this is an ages old concept of trade.
@basilthegreat The Arrows donโt always pop coloured smoke. The main reasons not to add colorant are environmental (near wildlife areas or waterways), local regs or in poor visibility conditions. Iโd assume that with Glastonbury being in the country and not an urban area would be why.
@DisrespectedThe This video is edited to evoke anger. If you do a quick search for the original on YT youโll find both men have disabilities and that the gent was laughing at the firstโs over enthusiastic approach to the match and not his disability.
@Lewis_Brackpool Foreign investment and management of UK nuclear power plants is nothing new. The French and Chinese have long been involved; take a closer look at Hinkley Point and Sizewell plants.
@happypositive0@NoContextBrits That's not right. When I logged onto the desktop and mobile version today and yesterday the lead articles were on Trump. More so when you click on US & Canada.
@Chrissietutoruk @fenlandcit@johnelworthy@cambstimes@bphillipsonMP@BBCPanorama@educationgovuk@bbceducation Iโve seen a lot of similar occurrences in many schools during my years on tour as an educational speaker. Heartbreaking to see. With the average working life span of teachers being just 2 years before burn out itโs the children that lose out on passionate & well applied education
We used to believe in needing an entire village to raise a child. Now we just give them a tablet & hope for the best. Which is why we have modern tragedies like this.

I spent 10 years as an author touring schools as a Champion of Literacy during which I noted the low morale of teachers. Their average working lifespan before quitting was 2 years. W/out respect for teachers the future of our children is bleak. #EducationMatters
One in three teachers and leaders are considering leaving the profession in the next year, with workload and wellbeing concerns the main driving factors, according to an @educationgovuk survey

My father died slowly & horrifically from Parkinson's. It robbed him of his dignity & it was brutal to see such a strong man be reduced to a husk. I know today's decision weighs heavily for some but I think my father would have valued having the choice of #AssistedDying
This social media ban is overdue, weโve already ruined two generations by giving them phones. Kids today have greater anxiety, obesity & low esteem than ever before. What is their future? Time to do better.
