Like Putin's invasion of Ukraine, Mao’s unprovoked invasion of Tibet in 1949-50 also relied on a heavily distorted historical narrative designed to confuse Chinese citizens and the world. https://t.co/stEbnV7C7l
My first impressions of watching #TheFearIndex on @NOW is a preference for my internal casting of a slightly younger @Robert___Harris as Prof Hoffmann and more importantly why are there adverts on a subscription streaming service?
When I worked with David Lynch, I bored him daily about my love for this film. Said I had the poster on my wall. He signed it for me. Tune in to BBC2 tonite at 12.15am. The Elephant Man. It will tear your soul apart.
Lucky enough, last weekend, to have caught this treat at @BelmontFh. A beautiful film derived from the misunderstood and underappreciated
Godfather part 3.
Fortunately the line "I'm of to hear some Tony Bennett records" made the cut.

@geunson I was in London mid 60s was pals with a roadie who worked for Alexis Korner and others. He was astonishingly good looking, invited to all the parties. He asked me to come with him to a Stones party and I coudnt be arsed.
Friday night listening to Jimi Hendrix & regretting not appreciating him enough when he was alive.
Then, remembering we weren't alive at the sametime.
