This is not a myth.

This is history — acknowledged even by Greek scholars such as Maria Euthymiou.

At the dawn of freedom, voices rose in many tongues.
Among them, Shqip echoed in homes, in songs, in prayers, and on the battlefield.
Men and women who fought for liberation spoke Albanian as their mother tongue — not as strangers, but as people of the land.

Back then, identity was not reduced to modern labels.
People were united by faith, honor, and homeland — not erased by language.

To deny this is not patriotism.
It is forgetfulness.

Recognising Albanian presence in 1821 does not diminish anyone.
It restores truth, and truth makes history stronger, not weaker.

Languages fade, borders change —
but memory should never be silenced.
