The MIAA Board of Directors has approved the following athletic calendar for the 2020-2021 year. Additionally:
. Out of season coaching from 9/18/20-7/3/2021
. No fall MIAA Tournaments
. Students can play in all 4 seasons
. Sport committee modifications for fall sports due 8/25
Of course, all of this is contingent on the current timeline that schools will reopen across the state on Monday, May 4.
Anything goes if that changes at some point down the road.
But today, the MIAA BoD (2+ hour meeting) gave some hope to spring athletes, coaches and teams.
A message of inspiration from student speaker Leeanna Singleton:
"1. Trust the process of growth.
2. Although you are anxious, remember that you control your own destiny.
3. You are capable, you are intelligent, you are enough and you have so much to offer."

📢 Attention high school athletes: You can lift in season. You can lift the day of the game. You can lift the day after your game. Stop saying that lifting in-season is negatively affecting your play. It’s a bogus excuse. This is why Harden is one of the best in the game.
It’s game day! Come down to Larsen rink tonight at 6:10pm to watch your Vikings take on Marblehead in a conference match-up! #GameDay#VikingPride @ Larsen Skating Rink at Eruzione Center https://t.co/Q5fsjTHEgT
