I'm a believer in publicly funded education. I love: my husband, my dogs, gf cooking + eating, family, friends, laughing, my life. All my tweets are my opinion.
@BlueJays@Alek_Manoah6@WVUBaseball@WVUSports@Sportsnet@FAN590@MLB@losazulejos Alek. those kids who look up to you are learning about your courage, grace + perseverance.
The kids still love you + so do (most🙄) adult fans.
Take care of yourself. Right now you’re being the role model that kids need to see.
You’ll figure this out- you’ve got this
My heart breaks for Alek Manoah. The guy loves Toronto and has been so great with fans. He’s in a really tough place right now and just can’t figure it out. The last thing he needs to hear is booing from #BlueJays fans.
@SNETCampbell@Sportsnet Re the sticky stuff - to stop it MLB has to impose penalties. Maybe: put an * beside the pitcher’s name AND make the offending team play w out their SS for as many innings as the P was in the game.
Statement in Solidarity with Education Workers
Bill 28 is not just an attack on the fundamental rights of the workers directly targeted by the legislation, but also on our constitutional democracy and the rule of law.

The public, especially parents, should take note. It’s not teachers or their unions saying there’ll be disruptions to the school year this fall. It’s Stephen Leece & Doug Ford who are suggesting it. @krushowy https://t.co/7c7a9T6kkX #onpoli#OSSTF#ETFO#OECTA#CUPE
38 million Canadians wake up in a free and beautiful country daily. Don’t let the small fringe of super annoying, uneducated honkers let you think otherwise. They are a small fringe that don’t speak for 99% of Canada. 🇨🇦
Get with the facts. Justin Trudeau did not make farmers use 30% less fertilizer. The program he put in place is voluntary where he will pay farmers who do reduce fertilizer. No farmer is penalized, fined,or is charged if they don't.Shame on the right wing media for misinformation
While the Minister of Education continues to re-announce funding commitments made earlier this year, we need to remember that the Ford gov't spent almost $1B less on education last year than it did the year before. #OntEd#OSSTF
