Last wk a nurse told me that if one of her sons died, like mine did, she would die right along with him. My son had cancer and died 1-14-21 I am NOT strong I’m surviving because I have no choice.
@nursekelsey If they lie about little things they will lie about big things.
Also when people complain about their wrinkles I remind them that not everybody is blessed with a life long enough to have wrinkles. Same goes for scares
So I haven’t been here in forever but remember why I got off. I just read random cards tweets for an hour. I am addicted to #cardiotwitter I work in a rural ICU, 8 beds, mostly vents and only basic ❤️stuff. I have decided when we move to Lafayette I need to work in cardio
@nursekelsey Did your dr mention Ox Bile? I’ve been trying to research it and have a few Docs killing into it too. I know some gastro suggest it. My son had his lap choley 6 years ago and has had heck since then
@That1MedStudent When I had my uterine biopsy I was told it was not painful. I went around for years thinking I was just a wuss. I had a 10 pound baby with no epidural, but they I was like, oh dang that hurts to a lurker biopsy… glad I’m not alone
@nursekelsey @reepRN Yes! we are an open unit so visitors are in and out of my pts room while We are giving drugs, titrating drips etc. You are trying to find the perfect balance of fentanyl, versed, propofol etc and pt family is there complaining about her hair needing to be brushed again
@davidmackau Its messed up all around but.. how you going to to defend your wife with a B@tch Slap? If your going all in at least punch him, don’t slap… JS.
@DoctorKevo My oldest passed in Jan 2021/cancer. People ask me, I know they are being kind but some days I say “I’m ok” but some days it causes me to just cry. Never know which will happen…
@rcg1812 I have pericarditis and I am on peri groups. Many got it from the flu, flu shot, unknown virus etc prior to Covid too. It’s what can happen with systemic inflammation I just think we see a lot now because a lot of people have had Covid all at once.
@DrJenGunter But how do I find a good dr in my state that is the question? Pretty sure I’m premenopausal at 43 after a partial hysterectomy in 2016. Having hot flashes in my sleep my primary feels it’s just stress.
