Andy Beshear, Democratic Governor of Kentucky at the DNC vehemently supported abortion (murder of children in mother's wombs) as a major part of his speech.

He talked about his "faith" and quoted the bible in regard to loving one's neighbor as one's self (Mark -31). But I note he didn't quote the bible from Proverbs -19 where we are told God hates hands that shed innocent blood. Or Psalm 139 where we are told God knitted us together in our mother's wombs and he saw our unformed substance clearly showing while our body was developing it was a person!

Let me summarize what I believe his speech really stated :

“We’re all Americans”… except those that are inside their mother’s womb.
“We should love our neighbor”… except those that are inside their mother’s womb.

In his world view, the unborn aren’t his neighbor and the unborn aren’t Americans because they are not human beings. Therefore, he doesn’t have to be held accountable for murder.

But note that at one stage he inconsistently refers to one in a mother's womb as a "child." Obviously he didn't realize what he was saying, but I do believe consciously or unconsciously he knows that that which was developing in a mother's womb is a child. God has written the law on our hearts (Romans 2) so we all, including Andy Beshear, have a God given conscience.

One day he will find out otherwise as he like all of us will have to stand before God and be judged by the righteous judge.

Chuck Schumer is the majority leader of the United States Senate.

In this post, I'm not commenting on his statements about not having enough workers or the immigration issue. I want to deal solely with this statement he made in a recent video clip (from 05 to 12). He said:

“We have a population that is not reproducing on it’s own with the same level that it used to…”.

What a hypocrite.

Here's what I believe he should of said, "We have a population that is not reproducing on it's own with the same level that it used to because I and most other politicians and many in the judiciary have totally supported killing off as many, in fact tens of millions of children as we can before they are even born."

The abortion holocaust (for which we've written a lot about on the @AiG website) is a stench before the God of creation for which they will be held accountable one day. And I want to warn Chuck Schumer, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Hebrews 10:31).

Shortly before he died, Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen, recorded a song called “Party.”

Here are some of the lyrics:

“We were up all night, singing and giving a chase… the next morning everybody was hung over.”

In the refrain he repeatedly implores his party mates to "come back and play."

Don’t be pulled into the illusion that drinking and partying will make you a happy person. Christians should live apart from that.

Romans 13 tells us, “The present time is of the highest importance—it is time to wake up to reality. Every day brings God’s salvation nearer. The night is nearly over, the day has almost dawned. Let us therefore fling away the things that men do in the dark, let us arm ourselves for the fight of the day!”

This is good advice. Don’t chase after those things. Proverbs 20:1 says, “Wine produces mockers; alcohol at leads to brawls. Those led astray by drink cannot be wise” (NLT).

Eventually the party will be over. Then where will you be?

I’m reminded of the great hymn of the church that says, “On Christ, the solid Rock I stand—all other ground is sinking sand.”

This world offers you cheap thrills that never will meet your deepest needs.

Follow Jesus Christ. In Him you will find what you are really looking for.
