1) The war is pressuring the elasticity of the opposition to stay within the framework of pluralism — a mission critical necessity to minimize chaos during a post-regime transition in Iran.

2) Everyday the war extends the people’s worries — about liberty, security and national integrity — grow and extend.

3) Political solutions must precede kinetic force. Yet the key actors in this war appear not to have given adequate attention to Iran’s opposition—at home or in exile—precisely when it needs deliberate cultivation and strategic patronage.
