Everyone is watching.
Will the United States win or lose?
Will it leave or take away the control of the Strait of Hormuz from Iran?
Will it leave or take away the nuclear material from Iran?
Will it leave or take away the deadly missiles and drones from Iran?
If the United States leaves without taking these away, it will create one path for the U.S. and the world, and if they are taken away, it will create a very different path.
If you'd like to learn more about my perspective, I encourage you to read my article, "It All Comes Down to Who Controls the Strait of Hormuz: The 'Final Battle.'" https://t.co/9cKmRRabIO
Watching students successfully design earthquake-resistant buildings is a wonderful reminder of the importance of learning math and engineering to improve quality of life.
Swincar's e-Spider is an all-terrain electrical vehicle developed by designer Pascal Rambaud.
Its design is based on a pendulum: four independent suspension systems keep the driver vertical at all times.

On New Year’s Eve, my family members and I go around the table and reflect on our past year’s resolutions. How do you make your New Year’s resolution? How do you stay accountable?

Trying to figure out your holiday gift giving this year? I have a great suggestion for you.
There are organizations like @TisBest and @DonorsChoose that will give a donation to your recipient’s favorite charity, on your behalf.
I think gifts like these are more in keeping with what the holiday season is really about, so I wanted to pass it along.
History shows us that having too much debt during an economic downturn leads to a classic, self-reinforcing cycle where:
1) The empire can no longer borrow the money to repay its debts
2) It prints a lot of new money, which devalues the currency and raises inflation
3) Living standards decline, leading to the rise of political extremism
4) Turbulent economic conditions undermine productivity and there is conflict about how to divide the shrinking resources
5) Populist leaders emerge pledging to take control and bring about order
Make sure they're fully informed and believable. Find out who is responsible for whatever you are seeking to understand and then ask them. Listening to uninformed people is worse than having no answers at all. #principleoftheday
"We both (Warren Buffett) insist on a lot of time being available almost every day to just sit and think. That is very uncommon in American business. We read and think."
-Charlie Munger
If you want a productive economy, you need a lot of productive people who make good incomes and are able to work well together. That's why education is so critical — the lessons we teach our children ultimately shape the society they grow into.
And children who are civil are able to thoughtfully disagree with each other, so that they can focus on understanding what is true and deciding what to do about it, instead of convincing the other party that they are right.
