#DidYouKnow? In 2024, a record 585 GW of #renewableenergy capacity was added—representing 92.5% of all global power expansion. #Solar PV remained the dominant source, with supply chains concentrated in regions such as #China, the #EU, and the US. As deployment scales, ensuring robust quality infrastructure and strong ESG standards is essential for building resilient solar supply chains. Learn more: https://t.co/5rcOAGAPx9
Global sales of electric cars continue to break records 🚘
In 2024, 1 in 5 cars sold worldwide was electric. In 2025, it's set to be more than 1 in 4.
Total electric car sales are on track to exceed 20 million this year despite economic uncertainties → https://t.co/I1CSAulPb9
The economics of the renewables revolution are undeniable!📉In 2023, 81% of newly commissioned utility-scale #renewables outperformed fossil fuels on cost — that's 382 GW of cleaner, cheaper power. Since 2000, global renewable deployment has slashed $409 bn in power sector fuel costs.

2022 Highlights
Last year, our customers avoided releasing about 13.4 million metric tons of CO2e into our atmosphere 🌎
Tesla vehicle emissions are significantly lower vs ICE vehicles. This will continue to improve as the grid gets cleaner, while the carbon impact of ICE vehicles remains the same every year.
After 17 years of driving—the average life of a vehicle in the US—a single Tesla will avoid almost 55 tons of CO2e.
Also, the Supercharger network continues to be 100% renewable. This was achieved via onsite resources & annual renewable matching.
💡 By 2050, most of the world's power will be generated from #renewables.
Power generation will more than triple from 2020 to 2050, w/ 91% of the total electricity supply coming from renewables, compared to 28% in 2020, says @IRENA's #WETO23 Preview.
