Peter Lynch on surviving a stock drop:
“If you understand what they do and know they’re financially solvent, you’re fine. If you don’t understand it, you’re probably going to do the wrong thing.”
When it drops from $10 to $6:
• If you understand it → you buy more
• If you’re confused → you panic sell
“Some of my best stocks went from $18 to $8, then to $40. Some went from $18 to zero. But at least I wasn’t adding on the way to zero.”
@amazon you guys should send out reminder emails to customers that purchased gift cards. That way next year the customer will get reminded about someones birthday and easily sent another gift card.
