@DrWitnesser Imagine someone actually trying to spread the word of God Twitch but going about it the complete wrong way and then getting mad when an entire community turns against him because he comes off as a condescending know-it-all who looks down on, talks down on and gets mad at everyone
@DrWitnesser My man said "damn my Twitter impressions are getting low... Better say something edgey to get all the trolls back so I can pretend to have all this support"
My man just let the topic go and move on. You're just hurting yourself
@Ibenchaux@StevePadron1@MrsWitnesser I'm literally not hating at all just pointing out scientific facts.
My girlfriend is religious, I'm atheist. We love each other and we love each others beliefs. Believe it or not, believers and non believers can Co-exist happily
@Ibenchaux@StevePadron1@MrsWitnesser Well I blatantly said that I'm not trying to discredit God for any of this sooo.. Hell I wouldn't have even come here to comment had you not said something about the moon containing light. Was just trying to share some scientific awareness of how things work lol
@Ibenchaux@StevePadron1@MrsWitnesser If we want to get technical, nuclear fusion inside the sun is what creates light.
Not saying it's impossible that God made it
But God isn't the source of light, shining like a light bulb from space.
The sun is in fact the source of light in our solar system.
@Ibenchaux@StevePadron1@MrsWitnesser I hate to burst your bubble but uh... There's no light in the moon to have ever been placed there.
The glowing of the moon is caused by reflecting sunlight. The moon itself doesn't glow.
The sun glows due to nuclear fusion. The moon doesn't work that way.
@PlayzJuicy @DrWitnesser I just strongly feel that if there's a God and he is Almighty, then certainly he could create a domino effect of sorts that culminated over hundreds of billions of years into everything we know today. I dont think science discredits religion. I just think it helps us grasp it.
@PlayzJuicy @DrWitnesser Exactly. Im atheist but I support all beliefs. With that being said, if God exists, I cannot see the problem with your explanation. I dont see why its so unbelievable that god set in motion a string of events that eventually led to our evolution.
@PlayzJuicy @DrWitnesser 3) God, being all knowing, knew that during the Big Bang many elements would combine to form suns. And those suns would nurture planets. Specifically ours as strategically planned by Him.
4) the earth formed its natural revolution and rotation around the sub. Day/night
@PlayzJuicy @DrWitnesser My thought process on this screen cap:
1) God created the Big Bang, creating all the materials needed to form the entire universe
2) earth, a spinning globe of molten galactic debris. Picture God as a sort of clay pottery artist, knowing just how to form earth from the materials
@PlayzJuicy @DrWitnesser I was always taught the Bible was full of metaphors to help better
Easier to say that God created everything in a week, than to say it took billions of years. An idea that sounded very outlandish before modern science.
Thanks man i try to be very open minded!
@CommunistSlayr@PlayzJuicy @DrWitnesser I encourage you to watch @onestrangerock or @COSMOSonTV. Both are super informative and I feel like they explain stuff pretty well.
No disrespect to you or anyone else obviously.
I guess its just as hard for me to accept any other explanation so I understand.
@DrWitnesser @onestrangerock@neiltyson@BillNye@COSMOSonTV Yeah that was just a bunch of nonsense lol couldn't even commit to watching it. I hope you have more reliable sources? Because if thats all you got then I got bad news for ya
