Full-time PhD studentship open to West African citizens, examining immune responses to the R21 malaria vaccine across age groups and malaria exposure histories in The Gambia and Burkina Faso, anchored on a cluster-randomised seasonal vaccination trial. Requires an MSc in Biomedical Sciences, Immunology, Infectious Diseases, or Microbiology (2+ years lab experience) or a BSc 1st Class Honours in a related field (3+ years lab experience). Flow cytometry and/or statistical analysis experience is an advantage.
