陰影の塗り分けラインは立体と光源の条件次第でズレることもあります。状況によって見え方は変化するので、どちらが正解という話ではないです。
イラストでは正確さに神経質になりすぎず、平面的に見せたいならラインを繋げて、立体的に見せたいならラインをズラす、くらいの意識で良いと思っています。

自分の中で何となく脚の描き方がわかってきた気がする。
細い脚と太い脚の違いはシルエットで捉えた時に直線的か曲線的か、あと内腿の隙間何じゃないかと。
