now I have two (slightly) unfinished versions of the same game :D porting the game over took almost as long as writing the initial game due to optimizations for different screen sizes, gameplay tweaks, redoing gfx+sfx and different lua commands available.

Porting the #tic80 version of acnpilot (https://t.co/d7VQYke8h4) to #pico8 (https://t.co/NxcvwDlLVV) was an interesting exp + a trip down memory lane. a bit like porting from one 6502 8 bit sys to another 6502-based home computer. a lot of similarities but still very different.

after spending a few days writing network simulations in #ns3 with c++, I know why I prefer #rustlang. a single, trivial bug like mixing up std::string and StringValue turn into SEVERAL screens full of c++ template errors!!!?! and the compiler error msg is not very helpful either
