برداشت من این است که منظور ترامپ از «تمدن»، ساختار سیاسی حاکم، یعنی اسلام سیاسی ۴۷ سال گذشته بوده و نه تمدن تاریخی ایران.

این با بخش دیگری از پیام او همخوانی دارد که در آن از «۴۷ سال باج‌خواهی، فساد و مرگ» یاد می‌کند.

نکته اینجاست که خامنه‌ای هم هدف حکومتش را «تمدن اسلامی» خوانده بود؛ ترامپ با اعلام مرگ آن، ریشه این ایدئولوژی را هدف گرفته است.
